OUR FUNDING HERO'S

POST Sat 4th MARCH 2023: George Ward.

First, let me say how all the Volunteers working in DMSC are so thankful for the amazing support we received from many individuals, when we first set up DMSC in November 2022. in the form of the giving of their time, their monetary and equipment donations and most important, their physical and emotional support, in getting our lovely Clubs up and running.  We would not be here, and the success we are, without you. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! And bless every one of you. xx

THANK YOU MICHAEL

We would like to say a massive thankyou to The Michael Barnard Charitable Trust, for the very generous donation of £1,000 towards the running of our Clubs.

THANK YOU LEE.

Lee Redican, put on his climbing boots, took a deep breath, and climbed Ben Nevis for DMSC a few months back and raised £630 for us.

On the behalf of all out users and Volunteers, we thank you Lee for undertaking that mammoth task for us.  You are a true FUNDING HERO.

DONATIONS ON CLUB DAYS

On our current Club days (Mondays and Wendenday) , Many attenders put small donations in our DONATION BOX.

Every little bit helps and we thank you all for your generosity.

DONATIONS FROM MEMORIALS

Since DMSC came into being in November 2022, hundreds of pounds have been raised through the memorials of DMSC clients with Dementia that have sadly passed away.

On the behalf of all our current  Dementia Clients, their Carers and our Volunteers, thank you to the families, for your generosity, at such a difficult time.

OUR CROWDFUNDER APPEAL

And the amazing fundraising support continues, with the success of our CROWDFUNDER APPEAL, that was set up to raise funds to buy a whole lot of percussion instruments of our two Clubs, so that all attenders can join in with the music – small Tambourines, Maracas, etc.

The percussion instruments are now in the Clubs.

We also needed an Amplifier, Microphone, and CD player, so that we had music, just in case myself, or our booked singer was unable to attend for any reason. These are now in the Clubs.

The target sum via CROWDFUNDER we hoped for, to enable us to purchase the instruments and other equipment was £600. The project actually raised £831.80

It only remains for me to say - a massive thank you from all Volunteers and users of The Dementia Music and Social Club, to all of you who supported our CROWDFUNDER project.

As stated in the project details, your REWARD for donating, was to have your names mentioned on our Face Book page, also entered HERE on our website OUR FUNDING HERO'S page, and your NAME written on one of the new percussion instruments to be used at our Clubs. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU: -

                            OUR ONGOING  APPEAL:

As a self-funding, not for profit group, DMSC survives primarily upon the small donation from people attending our two weekly Clubs, and donations from individuals who recognize the value of what we do, and want to support the Dementia music and social service we provide.

If YOU, or someone you know,  would like to contribute towards our service, you can do so by either making a single donation of ANY AMOUNT, or by making a small regular monthly donation.

To donate, please contact either LISA or CAROL, to discuss how you would like to make either a single or regular donations.

Or via our e-mail: -    DMSCenquiries@hotmail.com

We thank you in anticipation of your support.
